Sonamai Shikshan Prasarak Mandals Arts and Science Mahila College tries it’s level best to bring such students in the main stream of society by means of Higher Education who are mostly form rural and tribal areas and are first generation learners. Students form all religions, castes having various faiths come to our college. Our college tries it’s level best continuously to develop their hidden abilities and gives them quality education. Arts Mahila College sees itself as a beach of the sea of Higher Education for women bringing out graduates with Commitment to Social Justice. Our mission is to shape the attitude and behaviour of our girls students to be free from wrong social restrictions by means of higher education. Our college tries it’s level best to fill up the gap between the global expectations and rural perceptions.
Our college has got the prestigious award of ‘Jagar Janivacha’ by the Higher and Technical Education Department of the government of Maharashtra. We are proud of our College as our College is the only one from our area which has got this award on District and University level. The noble hearted and broadminded Management duty oriented teaching and non-teaching staff and disciplined girl students is the strength of our Institute and with the Co-operation of all stakeholders our educational journey is going on.
